Any audio mix
can and sometimes should be remastered especially if it is for
release or re-release.
Formats supported
are 1/4" Half track analogue tape 15 ips or 7.5 ips - (Ampex
AG440 machine),
Stereo 1/4"
- 1/4 track analogue most speeds - (Philips N400 machine), DAT,
CD, Minidisc, or even
cassette if thats
all there is.
The audio path
is kept as simple as possible and goes first to Groove Tube MP
1 Matched valve
mic preamps for
signal optimising then to GT EQ 1 Hand built passive valve eq's,
to get the best
out of the sound
and optimise for CD. Then through Aphex Dominator Limiter (3 band
stereo).
Finally to Lucid
Technology 20 bit ADA 1000 - Digital out to Digital in on Digidesign
Audiomedia
card on Apple
computer where it is edited in Digidesign Sound Designer 2.
Discs are cut
from this via Toast CD PRO on Kodak PCD 225 PRO writer including

crossfading of
adjacent tracks if required.
