Singers using
backing tracks can supply them on dat,cd,minidisc,or casette.
Through a combination
of top quality GT-valve mic/preamp/eq and Lexicon reverb the sound
is mixed
with the backing
track (Limited as needed) and recorded straight into computer.
Discs are cut
from there and
printed with any artwork you require.
There is the
option to record into cubase multitrack giving the benefit of
being able to control the mix -
(vocals
vs music) after recording
and record extra vocal tracks.
This mix is then
recorded and discs cut from there. The disadvantage of this is that -
- it takes longer
and is therefore more expensive but can produce a better
result.
The studio does
not supply any backing tracks either pre recorded or custom made
- there are plenty of
suppliers for
these, locally (as in Stoke on Trent) try Cookies DJ shop at Middleport.
